86-year-old nun gang raped in her room

An 86-year-old nun in South Africa has been gang-raped and killed in her own bedroom.
Sister Gertrud Tiefenbacher was gagged and bound with a typewriter cord at the Sacred Heart Home in Ixopo.
She was alone in her room when the incident happened on Saturday night or early Sunday morning, said police spokesman Major Thulani Zwane.
A small amount of cash was stolen.
The shocking incident has sparked a huge manhunt to find those responsible for the sickening crime.
Tributes have been paid to the Austrian immigrant.
'She had a very kind heart and was loved by everyone,' said friend Sister Gerald, another nun at the mission.
