Two police officers were beaten up by a mob of 30 children after they went to search a boy they believed to have a knife.
They went to search one of the boys after they saw him hide a knife in Lewisham on November 9 shortly after the end of school.
As they did, one of the officers was punched repeatedly in the face before he fell down. While on the ground he was kicked in the head and had to be taken to hospital.
A female PC stepped in to help him but ended up being punched and left with a broken jaw.
The first police officer suffered serious bruising and his mobile phone was damaged.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and has been bailed until December.
Several people filmed the attack and police want people to hand it over to police.
