A freak accident resulted in car landing on top of the roof.

When 83-year-old Joyce Kingsley heard a loud sound the last thing she expected to find was a car on the roof of her house.

The pensioner from Michigan, USA, told The Argus-Press of Owosso: 'I was just watching TV inside. I had it up pretty loud — but this was much louder'



The driver of the car – who amazingly escaped unharmed – apparently suffered a medical problem and lost control on a nearby motorway.

The incident isn't quite as improbable as it sounds, as Joyce Kingsley's roof is actually level with the top of a hill.

Joyce is taking it all in her stride. She said: 'It could've been a lot worse… I'm glad everyone is all right.'
