Eleven prostitutes and their clients were forced to walk through a city centre with no clothes on after police raided a brothel.
Shocking photos captured on a smartphone show the women and many of their clients, barefoot and trying to cover themselves.
Many of them were crying after police burst into the place they were working in St Petersburg, Russia's second largest city.
The group were marched for five city blocks before being put into police cars and taken to a police station.
The police raid is said to have followed a tip-off by notorious Russian former kickboxer and MMA fighter Viacheslav Datsi.
Datsik, who calls himself Red Tarzan, has declared war on prostitution in the city and regularly urges police to raid brothels.
